We are very excited to present the premiere of Connor Wall's track "Cycles" upcoming on his next LP release for Connection Verified due out 31st May.

For the 23rd release on our CVR catalogue, it is both an honour and a privilege to once again be providing a platform for a hardworking artist at a very special moment in their career. Cycles: A Collection of Familiar Sounds & Feelings (shortened to Cycles) is Connor Wall’s first full-length album, representing a marvellous crescendo on the artist’s timeline. 

Cycles, as both a concept and an eleven track body of work, reflects the week-to-week and day-by-day processes that make up ordinary life; a conceptualisation of the constant cycles of daily business that correspond to the physical environment around Connor. As the album aligns itself to, his biggest musical influences are time, place, and space. Each piece performs the function of a diary, aiming to capture the very human ephemera that exists only for a second, a minute, an hour… Cycles is about crystallising experience, and translating that into something that everyone can gauge upon hearing the works.

From beginning to end, through each individual cycle, you can hear the same concrete, aggressive, hammering sonic impression that Connor has developed over some years now, but evolving over the course of the album in this instance. Stripped back minimalism with an emphasis on texture, drive, and power. We’ve also worked closely with the Body Territory crew on capturing this sensation physically, with the art you can see digitally, on the 6-panel gatefold CD, or poster, the result of installation / photography work by the insanely talented Angus Brown. 

The release is utterly bonebreaking, spine-tingling, and awe-inspiring, and we can’t wait for you to sink your teeth into it.
