The five-track EP by the Paris based artist is a dive where gothic atmosphere collides with industrial force. Drawing from the raw intensity of body music and fractured, broken beat rhythms, this release pulses with urgency and emotional weight. Stark, sorrow-laced vocals cut through metallic textures and driving low-end, tracing themes of isolation, inner conflict, and emotional decay.

Viels and Francesco Della Sata co-own the Berlin-based techno label End of Perception, which has released music by a variety of artists, including Takaaki Itoh, Ness, Brendon Moeller, Deepbass, and ORBE.

Viels, a seasoned DJ and producer from Milan, has performed with DVS1, DJ Nobu, Setaoc Mass, Steve Bicknell, and many others throughout Europe. He also maintains a residency at the Acquario event. In addition to his appearances on End of Perception, his exceptional production approach has been included on imprints like Bas Mooy's Mord, Oscar Mulero's Warm Up, Psyk's Non Series, Svreca's Semantica, and Edit Select Records. He has also collaborated on releases with fellow Italian Pyramidal Decode.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Primo Respiro" that has an ethereal sound full of ambiance and hypnotics. The taut percussion and disjointed kick drum in this heads-down groove are accompanied with cyclical pulses.
