Alex Dolby and his Affekt Recordings based in Italy celebrates seven years of releasing this month and with comes a special mixed CD and digital compilation featuring a solid troop of talent such as Pacou, Albert Chiovenda, Luca La Rocca, Base Research and many more.

Overall the package is an atmospheric, deep dive into analogue techno styles from ambient to raw, and more straight up DJ tools also included.

Grabbing our attention of the artists involved is Berliner Pacou who is known for his long-standing residency at Tresor and releasing on their label, alongside appearances on Reeko’s Mental Disorder, Music Man, Djax-Up-Beats, Labrynth and many more.

For this DT:Premiere we selected his track “Servo” that is a purists dream of warping, modular tones and delicious 909 patterns. It’s thumping and jackin’ sound is of course floor ready oozing with a timeless tale of dedication.
