9 8 r p m, born in Bogota, has taken his inspiration to unknown worlds, complex drums, industrial sounds, heartbreaking vocals, groove sequences and constant over drops, focus on underground music such as Groove, Techno mental, BreakBeat, Dub Techno, IDM, HIP HOP, Boom Bap, Drumless, EBM and Electro.

Slam return to Soma with the slick, minimalistic and hypnotic Activate EP. Slam continue to evolve their sound as they drops their latest 4 track release, the Activate EP.

With the focus firmly rooted in the dance floor, Slam explore deeper and more hypnotic regions on this new EP with a varied selection of raw, driving yet minimalistic techno.

Title track Activate opens with deep, driving, pulsing rhythms and straight forward percussive elements, lead with hypnotic vocal loops. 
Quantum delves deeper as dubbed out reverb & delay
saturates the tripped out acid bass sounds that flicker into existence as stripped yet effective drums create the intensity. Somnambulist continues the stripped back nature of the EP as subtle
changes in FX give the track live whilst the swelling percussive elements drive the rhythms. Trsmit offers up a tougher yet still minimalistic approach to close out the EP. An intense and
tension building atmosphere is created throughout the track as warping synths swell & filter against a backdrop of sparse yet effective percussion.
