Ma Haiping is one of the most influential Techno producers in China. He began to listen to electronic music on radio in the 90’s. Around 2000, when he was 19, he began to make industrial and experimental music. A few years later, he was triggered by stories of Underground Resistance and Drexciya then started making techno, and influencing by Jeff Mills' futuristic sci-fi aesthetics.
In 2013, he released EP 'The Chinese Connection' on the Scan 7 label Cratesavers International, which made him the first Chinese producer releases techno music in Detroit.In year 2015. He released EP 'Crepuscular Rays' on the Orlando Voorn’s label Nightvision. In 2022, he released the album Chang'e-4 at the legendary AXIS Records of Jeff Mills.In September 2022, XX 8 EP was released in the legendary UK label Molecular Records , and the Invincible EP was released in the French label Seclusion in December.

The Stasis EP opens with “Cornor Galaxy”, the most atmospheric track on the roster, whose tension relies on sampled and chopped male vocals, bolstered by anxiety-inducing loops. 

"Space Catcher," on the other hand, embraces a warmer sound with its dub sequences, evoking a sense of nostalgia for the listener and offering a powerful tool for emotional twists during live performances. 

The title track, "Stasis," perfectly embodies Truxx's unique style and their exceptional production skills. It combines dynamic, bleeping techno with subtle layers of groove. 

To conclude the EP, we are treated to a remix of "Stasis" by the incredibly talented Casual Treatment. This remix masterfully preserves the core and character of the original version while injecting additional power through percussive rhythmic elements.

First issued in 1998 on Superstition Records, Oliver Lieb’s L.S.G. project distilled late-’90s Frankfurt techno/trance into sleek, tightly engineered club tools with arc and atmosphere. The Black Album: The Vinyl Mixes (Remastered) presents the unmixed, original vinyl versions—newly remastered by Lieb—to foreground the detail in his drum programming, weight in the low end and the aerodynamic synth work that made these tracks DJ staples. Across nine pieces you move from the brooding momentum of “The Train Of Thought 1.1” and the nimble pulse of “Go Fishing” to the sinewy churn of “Cellular,” the pressure-valve release of “The Blaxone” and “Rotation,” the taut tension of “88” and “Freakz,” and the endorphin lift of “Hellfire” and “Deep Blue.” L.S.G.’s reputation for trance without cliché has been noted for decades. Lieb’s own note on the remastering underlines the intent: fed “through the finest analogue gear… tweaked to make it sound up to date while the music still is timeless.”

I tend to overstuff my tracks, no difference with this one. Always been doing this. If things fit over one another musically, I put them on top of one another. But this is very often a mistake. Here, I am very unsure if it is wise to put the robot chorus on top of the house chords. Right now, I am considering dropping the vocoder vocals altogether and replacing them with some female vocals; some soft voice that creates a contra to the techno sound.
