Haumea came armed to the teeth, and with mindful precision layed out a cunning piece of storytelling. As we emerge from a fog cloaked forest, a distant howling lingers on, commencing the hunt. Pressing on, the echoes of ancient burial rites dissipate over a desolate plane. Ever increasing vibrations coalesce into an ambient flood, bending reality as the aural field entangles earth and sky. Directions change, as our surroundings integrate. Razor sharp blades materialize from the void, mutating into rotating rhythms while they cut circles in the air. Following this cadence we change course, entering a world where dynamic kicks and spiralling percussions dominate. At times the glinting reflections of auquatic droplets illuminate our path, before the occasional disruption by cyber-transmissions causes another shift in direction. The end becomes a new beginning, where different routes lead us to the same destination. With this selection of  constantly driving and yet mind-warping assembly of tracks Haumea, the second guest on our mix series, shows his unique quality of moulding different elements together into new forms of life.

Vienna-based producer Mahk Rumbae—one half of the industrial/experimental duo Konstruktivists and the force behind Codex Empire—unleashes his latest EP Rotten Fodder on Trauma Collective. This four-track weapon fuses raw, dark energy with cerebral soundscapes, pushing the limits of both sound design and rhythmic intensity.

The EP kicks off with "Oracular Soul," a relentless, pulsating techno opener that sets an uncompromising tone. "Commissioner of Grief" follows, a dystopian “arabesque’’ journey packed with atmospheric tension and heavy beats. On the flip side, 'Force the Tools Available' draws you into razor-sharp industrial breaks that grip and mesmerize from start to finish. Closing it all out is "Maelstrom of Shit," an apocalyptic ride of syncopated drums and chaotic soundscapes, leaving a brutal, lasting impact.

slufgi spills rhythms like ink from a cracked vial, pooling into relentless, churning pulses that writhe and coil. 47 marks TEN YEARS with its 47th and final release, closing the catalogue at 47047. 

Launched as an event series by Tommy Four Seven in Berlin’s intimate Arena Club in 2014, the 47 parties paved the way to the label we’ve come to know today, inspiring and encouraging a host of interdisciplinary artists along the way. The imprint opened in 2015 with a V/A, and now, ten years later, 47 comes full circle with the release of its last-ever record and compilation. 

As always, the various artist collection reflects the imprint’s long-running ethos of championing underground and upcoming talent. Titled ‘Ten Years’, the record features label debuts from Jin Synth, Casual Treatment, SAMA, Yrsen, and contributions from familiar faces like Pause, Rommek and AgainstMe, to name a few. 

Across the 20-track V/A, each artist delivers precise and sonically rich productions, spanning several palettes. You’ll find a dreamy soundscape punctuated by blips and bleeps from Amotik. Claustrophobic atmospheres and winding rhythms by Innersha. Liquid melodies and maximalist basslines from Ana Rs. Moonlit synths and icy motifs by VSK. Club-driven 4/4 techno with a metallic sheen from ASEC. An emotive take on ambient and techno from Linn Elisabet. A spiralling trip with IDM touches from Nørbak, and more.

‘Ten Years’ mirrors the adventurous attitude of 47, celebrating the artists and sounds who’ve helped to build the label’s solid reputation, leaving an indelible signature on electronic music for years to come. 

The record will be available as a 5 x 12" release, limited to 200 copies. Orders can be made on October 10th via Bandcamp at 10:00 CET.

What are today’s sonic futuristic statements?

In an era where plasticity and authenticity co-exist, 
the research for an aesthetically bright sound is a gardening quest, requiring to cut-off the noise to highlight what’s to be heard. 

The idea of this mix is to propose a travel between sound designs and textures, going towards a more stripped down soundscapes, to mimic this techno paradox by a mix: textured tracks versus their stripped down counterparts, deep hypnotism balanced out  by rhythmics.

Mary Yuzovskaya's Monday Off rounds out 2025 with its eighth vinyl-only various artists compilation, arriving 12th December, featuring Feph, Rasser, Mathys Lenne, and Xhato.

Opening the record is Florida's Feph, co-operator of Alchemista Records and Zosimos, with 'A Realization', where wild electric currents crackle over a subtle, sharp beat as shocks and zaps scatter into the darkness. Spanish DJ and producer Rasser follows with 'Constant Pulse', a hulking techno chugger of warped rhythms and hammering metallic hits.

On the flip, France-born Germany-based Mathys Lenne, known for outings on Mord, ORBE, and Blue Hour, offers 'A Gentle Singularity', its tumbling percussion and drone-like synth casting a hypnotic spell while sparkling high-end shimmers above. Previous Monday Off contributor Xhato then closes with 'Lemon Swirl', a mystical finisher where soft sequences snake through brooding ambience, providing a guiding light as the kick drum marches resolutely.

Alongside regular sets in Moscow, he’s played in Minsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, and St. Petersburg. His sound is rooted in classic techno, drawing on both old- and new-school.

“I listen without prejudice or genre fences — either the music resonates or it doesn’t. I choose tracks with my heart: if a record moves me, the names and labels are irrelevant. This four-hour mix spans different eras to show how the same feeling endures over time — the urge to dance—and to pass that feeling on through my sets.”
