He defines himself as an eclectic DJ and vinyl collector, who has been involved in the Barcelona club and experimental scene since the early 90’s. He is also a radio DJ, currently appearing on Policromo (Dublab) and Resonancias (Tesla FM). He has performed at festivals such as Sonar and Primavera Sound.

Here, Dani invites us to a journey through a selection of tracks produced between 1992 and 2016. Darkore, D&B, Techstep and Breakcore are the genres and subgenres included in the mix.

While some relationships are cherished forever, others slowly dissolve into oblivion as time passes. However, what lingers on are these certain moments when undefined feelings creep back up and we revel in happy memories while at the same time mourning the transience of past moments we shared with people which once felt so present in our life. The double-edged character of nostalgia that remains in regards to friendships and relationships long-gone - that's what Break Well tries to identify and describe. Break Well offers a home for a diverse array of artists to channel this sentiment into musical transmissions. Sometimes it hurts to dwell in this bi-polar sentiment called nostalgia, but in the end the positive feelings will hopefully exceed the negative and we will still feel love for each other - sometimes more, sometimes less.

Can't believe Animix is already at it's twentieth mix! I am delighted that no.20 comes from @kikimolina, all the way from Santiago, Chile. Kiki has been a drummer/percussionist their whole life, and works as an anthropologist, recently focusing on pre-Columbian American music and instruments. With mixes, Kiki aims to create a ritual and lasting space, long, languid ideas, and an essence of calm... 

Gracefully done, this mix is just that. An other-wordly float through electronica, ambient & beyond.

Navarra (Spain)-based DJ and producer Izar5 delivers the next TRM mix series podcast. He is an active member and founder of Rebels Collective, a project started in 2014 with the aim to spread the word of the most leftfield sides of techno. His sets are recognised for his inclusion of hypnotic and heavy sounds, with touches of electro and EBM vibes. As a producer, he has released on labels such as Geometrika FM, MFM, and his own imprint Rebels and Riot. Next TRM mix series comes from Ximo Noguera. Head of NXT Recordings and Industrial Complexx, delivers a 3h selection of his most recent influences.

Ximo Noguera began his career as a DJ in 1991, attracted by the vibrant electronic scene of the late 80s . His interest in EBM pushes him to explore other styles such as psy trance, break beat nu skool , electro , IDM , trip-hop or minimal, genres that pave the way to find a perfect tune with techno.
He has published on labels such as HC Records and NXT recordings. This last is where he is head together with Jesús Sierra and is also the head of Industrial Complexx.

Industrial Complexx is a media linked to dark, transgressive, experimental, eclectic and dissonant electronic music. It first emerges as a digital platform but, its activity expands as a record company, and also, as a printed medium.

“This set clearly shows my musical evolution in this last stage, as the linear techno that I frequented so much has given way to a more organic style and richer in nuances, in which any musical genre can appear at a certain moment. The length of the set is also something that I usually take into account because I need it to have a development similar to that of a hall, with a good warm up and a gradual progression that usually reaches its peak from the middle of the session and up to the end of it. Regarding styles and musical genres, above all, any cut that sounds at least elaborate and with a certain originality prevails.”

The all-star cast behind the scenes (Bradley Shawyer and Lauren Mitchell) take a broad-brush approach to beautiful music, with particular focus on unearthing lesser-known local acts, many of whose creative gifts deserve to be household names. Take their debut release, ‘Voler’ by Grace Ferguson, a stunning piece of modern classical. Dynamic piano balanced with perfectly placed electronic ambience - beautiful, expansive. A chuggy, slow-burn affair for those last nights of the cold months up in the Northern Hemisphere, and the wind-down of the hot ones in the Southern Hemisphere, this one’s a love letter across the Equator. ❤
