This is a song about mental health. All of us feel depressed and suffocated by anxiety sometimes in life. This song is an attempt at creating an anthem against those evils. Our hope is that other people find comfort in the words that we do, because sometimes we feel broken and lost, but it's important to not slow down. Life is important, and we know that.

White Horse is the first majorly metaphorical song we've written. The 'white horse' is the idea the people constantly choose to live in ignorance their entire lives. A large majority of people have never bothered to go outside their comfort zone, or think about what really matters in the world. They live their day-to-day lives without questioning the authority that sits above them from womb to tomb. The white horse is a metaphor for the unlikely chance that the general public will change. Enjoy!

This song has to do with a story of a man from a different time. An old friend of ours had a grandfather named Harry, who in the 1960s in Huntington Beach, wreaked havoc for years with his connections to the Armenian Mafia. He would murder, steal, and lie his way through life, never settling down on a wife, with an uncertain number of children produced. This song is a little taste of his life.

This song goes out to anybody who has a stick too far up their ass. We're a band of free-thinkers. We love freedom, mental and physical. While our singer, Jack Johnson, was in high school, he frequently fought with his teachers on topics like logic, reason, and dark humor. So don't be such a dud, and laugh a little. That's what this song is about.
