Rick Sierra Saturo Sounds 10th Birthday Residents Weekender 06.30.24

Born in Argentina, @emigalvan story is a journey through the vibrant landscape of electronic music. Influenced by legendary electronic artists like the Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, Underworld and Groove Armada, he evolved from his early days as a guitar player and singer in rock bands to become a celebrated DJ and producer in the electronic music scene.

Over the past years, Emi has curated original music and remixes on labels like SUDBEAT, The Soundgarden, Balance, Plattenbank, Manual Music, Replug and Warung Recordings with sustained DJ support from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Sebastien Leger, Eelke Kleijn, Guy J, Above & Beyond and Aly & Fila just, which further cemented his ascendancy towards the upper echelons.

A recent highlight was his release ‘Frequency Shift’, which reached #1 sales on Beatport within 3 categories: ‘Beatport Top 100 Organic House’, ‘Top 10 Releases’ and ‘Hype Top 100 Organic House’.
Forever choosy in his projects, Emi ended his 2023 production schedule by adding Replug to his resume with a two-track showcase entitled ‘Samsara’ and his catchy 'Connection' on the legendary Nick Warren's The Soundgarden label.

As one of Argentina's most sought-after DJs, Emi has traveled the world, delighting crowds in Egypt, Greece, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Qatar, Australia, Hungary, Malta, Netherlands, Romania, Russia, Spain, United States, Colombia, Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Peru, Paraguay, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay further consolidated its reputation.

Jhonatan Ghersi is a Uruguayan dj and producer, born in the city of Montevideo - Uruguay. From a very young age, he felt his taste for music, and not related to the electronic genre, he began to take his first steps in it from 2006 as a DJ doing his own raves in the city of Sauce - Canelones, where he lived great part of his adolescence and formed.

He then decided in 2007 to study with one of the leaders of the national scene such as DJ Oscar Valdez and thus be able to insert himself into the Montevideo scene. In 2010 he began his production studies with the renowned dj / producer Nicolás Silvano (LogiztikSound) and in 2011 he held an electronic music workshop with the renowned musician Emil Montgomery.

Always influenced by melodic and deep sounds, it is what keeps him in his own style and with his own personality when performing his dj sets, radio shows and productions.

He began to release his music in 2017, labeling in them such as Moonlight (Soon), Songuara Tales, RYNTH, The Purr, Canopy Sounds, Dreamers, among others.

Tale + Tone

Traumhouse consists of Sebastian and Silvana, who came to know each other in 2014 with the help of an internet platform for musicians. They became a couple one year later and decided to build up a musical project together. While Silvana features the voice of Traumhouse, she is also front singer in a rock band. Sebastians piano lessons in his adolescent years were quickly followed by electronic productions in a DAW. Traumhouse is mainly focusing on a melancholic deep house style, with some more progressive elements here and there. Trademark of Traumhouses sound are dreamy and mellow pad sounds, perfectly complemented by Silvanas warm and silky voice. Featuring even instrumental tracks now and then, Traumhouse inspires with powerful, catchy but nonetheless relaxing beats, which draw every listener into a soothing, hypnotic and often joyous mood. Traumhouse were released, among others, on labels such as A Must Have, Manual Music & 90 Watts, One of a kind and The Purr Music.
