Since the release of Patrick Zigon’s third solo album, Between The Lines, in November 2019, the roller- coaster called life brought two turbulent years full of ups and downs, calling for deeper interpretation of all preceding events. Now, smarter than before, stronger than ever, it’s time for the next chapter: a full-length collection of remixes re-reading Between The Lines.

Interpretations by Zigon's closest musical companions transport his creations into myriad new dimensions. Retaining the consistently dreamy, dub-laden, and gently Detroit-influenced mood of the originals, each artist adds their own unique lens to understand what's written between the lines.

Patrick Zigon is closing circles with his fourth studio album, once again on his label Traumraum. The German DJ and producer has used the conditions of recent years to reinvent himself and completely change his way of working, moving away from DAW-based production towards experiments with analog equipment, desktop synthesizers, drum machines, pedals, and freestyle jamming. Closing Circles is a collection of these jams, in chronological order, only slightly edited and mixed to retain the character of each session. Rawness, distortion, and chaos are used as stylistic tools. The tracks are accordingly wild, dark, and twisted - but simultaneously hypnotic, melancholic, and somehow redemptive. It becomes clear where Zigon is coming from musically, where he is at the moment, and where his journey is going. It's equally a conclusion, a snapshot, and a glimpse into the future.

Closing Circles is also likely Zigon's most dancefloor-oriented album to date. Deliberately eschewing downbeat interludes, a soothing intro, an ambient outro, or musical collaborations and features, Zigon focuses his skills to create a dynamic sound that oscillates between mainstays of techno, house, electro, and breaks. The tracks are accompanied of course by occasional clouds of dub, but more subtly so than on Zigon's previous albums, leaving more room for futuristic glitches and deep space atmospheres. The improvisational origin of each track is also noticeable in their lengths, eternal sequences building up and down, again and again - unpredictable, organic, and unplanned. Some arrangements are broken up to the point of complete abstraction, yet remain fully danceable - if played at the right moment.

Closing Circles is about life. It's about returning to where you belong and falling back in love with what you've always loved - but maybe just forgot. It's about being content with where you are and who you are, and it's about being ready for what lies ahead. It's all about Closing Circles.

In the second edition, Isabelle Gaultier serves up a flawless mix straight from her studio in Freiburg, southern Germany. In addition to the amazing original tracks, she also uses various effects units, synthesizers and drum machines on top, which is her trademark.

Isabelle presents a haunting journey through the emotions of grief in deeply felt soundscapes. Grief and beauty are interwoven, taking the listener on an introspective journey through their own feelings. A very personal mix, in which Isabelle's experiences of the past year are processed - dream on with Isabelle Gaultier.

Traumraum proudly presents the first EP in a long while from american Techno legend Bryan Zentz. Well-known for his countless trademark productions under several aliases on legendary labels such as Bush, Plus 8, Minus, Tronic, Primate, and Intec, he’s back with an amazing, multi-layered, abstract, and surreal EP for the freshly launched Traumraum label. Traumraum boss Patrick Zigon was always inspired by Bryan’s music, so it’s a big honor for him to welcome Mr. Zentz to the family; with Bryan a fan of Zigon’s output as well, it was only a matter of time until these passionate artists’ ways would inevitably cross - and work together.

For his debut EP on Traumraum, Bryan mentally travelled back to the early days of his career when he first began making electronic music. Some of his biggest inspiration came from disparate sources, such as the techno of Air Liquide, FUSE, and Dark Comedy, to the industrial sounds of early Skinny Puppy and Cabaret Voltaire, to a dub reggae mixtape a friend made for him. All of this music had a surreal and atmospheric current running through it. That dreamlike feeling, and the artists old and new who capture it, were the influence for this beautiful and diverse four-tracker within the wider cosmos of techno, dub, and electronica.

As part of the infamous production duo, Cosmic Cowboys, he’s well known for passionate output on labels such as Compost, Rotary Cocktail, Bedrock, and many more. After his successful solo debut on Lee Burridge’s Get Weird label, the Italian artist presents his second solo EP on Patrick Zigon’s freshly launched Traumraum imprint.

The Endless Story EP is inspired by Kaled’s home base, the beautiful lagoon of Venice: a true fairy- tale area known for amazing landscapes and natural spectacles bridging air, water, and sun. The EP catapults you directly into Kaled’s emotional cosmos full of scents and colors, letting you hover over the Venetian sea and vault into the blue sky. Eventually transforming into a trademark Venice sunset - when the sun warms the spirits as they traverse the darkness of night - truly magical things take place; as the noise leaves room for silence, spirits fly towards the infinite again.

Patrick's latest LP has biographical features, each composition carrying deep personal meaning and an expressive track name, inspired by the most significant events of the past two years of Zigon's multifaceted life - which he spent primarily in his favorite fixed points: Berlin, Barcelona, and southern Germany's Lake Constance. No wonder the 12 tracks are fully packed with strong emotions, most noticeably Zigon's signature mood: the melancholy that has always accompanied him and his musical creations.
It's certainly Patrick Zigon's most versatile album to date, stylistically rooted in Techno, House, and Broken Beats, yet surprising with Experimental, Jazz, and Latin influences. Despite its diversity, Zigon remains true to his lineage: consistently dreamy, dub-laden sequences with a gentle Detroit touch that have always been Patrick's greatest passion and most obvious trademark. The DJ, producer & promoter is well known in the electronic scene for his quality productions and remixes on labels such as Cocoon, Kompakt, Connaisseur, Compost and his own labels Biotop and Traumraum. Since 2005 Traumraum-events provide room for electronic dreams, featuring monthly residencies in legendary clubs such as Climax Institutes, Stuttgart and Macarena Club, Barcelona. In the year 2017, Zigon and his team initiated the Traumraum music imprint, in order to release electronic music without boarders by gifted artists and to spread the Traumraum philosophy to the floors of the world.
