While somewhat successfully scraping that covid-rust off our shoulders, we had several moments of pure joy in the last few months. One of the joy-gems surely was the San Trancisco night, which returned to the club after a drawn-out sleep and it was an awakening of dragon-like proportions. All the louder since our resident @yanmmxiv, who has been kind of secretly digging trance tunes lately, joined the jam. He was incredible – the whole thing was – and hopefully this recording will transpire to you as a proof. If you’ll need to feel better, or straight away ecstatic, put it on and the gloomy skies won’t matter anymore.

YUTA is a DJ / Organizer / Label A&R based in Japan, starting his career in 2004.

His visions are transformation from Retro Goa Trance under the legendary MATSURI label, to the one and only Psychedelic Techno project Liquid Drop Groove.

YUTA has started Agaitida in 2015, based in Okinawa in world heritage village. The theme is bridge to Southeast Asia.

Psychedelic Techno label Liquid Drop Groove was established in 2016, the concept is to create space and sound that ripple made by a drop on the surface. 

In 2021, YUTA has launched SPECTACLE, a techno festival with DJ Nobu. In the same year, he also launched the outdoor party EDEN. In both, the theme is clear.

His music describes as Psychedelic/Intelligence with build up and cinematic flow, performing at greatest festivals such as Ozora (Hungary), Modem (Croatia), Equation (Vietnam) etc. And he has started playing consistently in clubs in Asia and Europe.

YUTA provides mixes for London's NTS Radio, and wonderful maniac podcasts that reach a core audience around the world. He also runs on Liquid Drop Groove release and podcast, as well as one DJ mix a year on video.

GRØMM is a DJ from Hamburg. She is resident and integral part of the 6D. collective, which embodies timeless and sophisticated techno. Her sound is characterized by rhythmic, minimalist elements and rolling basslines, which are sometimes more psychedelic and sometimes more rave-oriented. Typical of her sets is the build-up of tension that releases energy in waves. As part of the new generation of PAL residents, GRØMM brings fresh influence to the Hamburg club scene. Thus, his sets could be heard in the wilderness of Lithuanian woods, among the concrete walls of underground nightclubs or even Boiler Room broadcast. Kameu’s own sets are as diverse as his activities ranging from functional techno madness to immersive deeper sounds or even ambientish pulsations, from old-school to cutting-edge tracks. He carefully merges the sensibilities required for both listening and dancefloor experiences.

The very first mix of our podcast series in 2017 comes from Ndrx, the resident of Bassiani, initiator of now closed but well-know local project Stare At Dj and a founding member of the collective "11TH". The set, nearly two and a half hours long was recorded at Bassiani as part of the Northern Electronics Night on New Year and is broken up into two separate parts: one is brimming with atmospheric, ambient textures and the other is consisting more of experimental and dub techno. With the twists and turns throughout the mix, Bassiani resident skillfully removes us from the dance floor and creates a great listen with plenty of mind-blowing music.
