Killer old school mix

Live DJ mix I recorded at The Rock Bar, Leeds on Friday 21st October for the 'Up Yer Ronson Reunion' party with Graeme Park. My set was from 9.30pm - 12.30am warming up for Graeme Park who played from 12.30am - 3am.

The mix contains many tracks that I used to play at my Up Yer Ronson residency in Leeds & Ibiza...enjoy x


Paul Murray - Live mix 'Up Yer Ronson Reunion' at The Rock Bar, Leeds - Friday 21st October 2011

A couple of things this week made me revisit this edit. Firstly Greg Wilson featured it in a 'Festival Anthems' selection he recently uploaded to Mixcloud - http://tinyurl.com/d6yvsbc - and secondly it was featured in the closing scene and credits to this weeks episode of Mad Men. The combined effect meant that a fair few people have been downloading the version I uploaded here 3 years ago (which was also only available as a low quality MP3), so I thought it apt to give it a 'spit and polish' and make a remastered WAV version available for download. 

Even if you downloaded my original version you should grab this too as the remaster kicks like the proverbial mule!  :)

This little gem was released on Kaleidiascope Records in 1992 (CAT :KAL 9140)
280 West were Diamond Temple, Gregg Hatten, Mark Mendoza.
This is the "Boom Chocka Boom Mix" that I've edited taking out the vocal part and only using the loops with the 303 while adding some vocals, conga loops and a breakbeat.
