In honor of 415 Day (San Francisco's area code) this week, we knew we had to feature none other than San Francisco Native producer, DJ, and community builder, Baghead!

For years, Baghead has been keeping events alive with seamless blends of Hip-Hop, Ballroom, Jook, and Baile Funk— effortlessly jumping between genres while keeping the crowd locked in. Baggy’s sets feel like a vibe you didn’t even know you needed, giving your ears something familiar while expanding your musical palette.

When he’s not DJ'ing, he's focused on building community, bridging cultures, and curating spaces where people feel at home. He’s the mastermind behind “It’s a Function at El Rio,” a day party series that highlights Bay Area DJs and feels more like a family reunion than just another event + the co-founder of Family Not A Group (FNG), a San Francisco-based collective that’s been throwing parties coast to coast—from New York to LA, Seattle, and all over the Bay. 

Beyond community building, he's an accomplished executive producer- working with artists like Rex Life Raj, Stuntman02, A-1, Qing Qi, and Grand-O + projects like "Rent Check" featuring over 40 Bay Area artists tied to the web series.
