Many years Alice was helping people and brands to reveal themselves, and Travis has become a project through which she reveals herself. Gesellschaftliche Erwartung #37 // Travis

Having impressed us so much when we last touched down at Berlin’s Hoppetosse we had to find out more about Ukrainian artist Travis. For a start, she is a System Error resident and this accolade does not come easy. Not excelling at just one genre, Travis combines a huge selection of sounds into a cohesive package. Not an easy task when moving at the speeds that she does. Being at home in the clubs of Berlin she regularly spins at all the major haunts as well as breaking out to the likes of Dimensions and Strikha Festival in her native Kyiv.

In a slight change from our normal podcast style we present something different but certainly with tones and elements of all the sounds that make up what we know and love. Travis melds all manner of bass music with lush soundscapes, increasing tempos and moods she works her magic with her break heavy sound palette. From more electro moments all the way up to drum and bass and electronica that is too obscure and breakneck to pigeonhole. Made to expand the mind this mix from Travis is most definitely one for the heads.

Hey, we did a little pause, but right now we are bursting into your ears with a new mix from @travis_alisa!

Very dynamic and multi-genre selection, which impressed us with the quality of the selected music. Alice added that she recorded this last winter, at that time the mix reflected her mood as much as possible. By a strange coincidence, this hour of musical reflection fell into our hands, when Alice feels the same as when recording the mix.
