MY REALITY - THM

This entire track was recorded on a laptop with a single microphone without a mic stand. A particular instrumental beat was created prior to this recording and set to play until the audio track was considered finished. 

First, Stephen D. Bennet, The Guitar Player, would start the audio track and hit the record button. He would hold the microphone to the end of the Saxophone while I, Travis Howry, would attempt to play along with the track by ear. Meaning, neither myself nor Stephen would have had prior exposure to this audio track in order to practice anything at all. It's very similar to a sort of instrumental freestyle jam session. 

After my run through was done, some time within the audio track would pass and then Stephen would've plugged in his electric guitar into the adapter that we were using to record this track onto his laptop. Stephen would then also proceed to play along with the recording by ear and make it up as he went until he was done. 

Later, we would decide to include this particular audio track in our album that our band called "The Acronyms" would later produce. The Band members included Stephen D. Bennet, Samuel Velasquez, and Travis Howry.
