This song was about realizing that I want more than what’s been given to me, and just because I want more doesn’t mean that this person is less than. 
Someone can give you their all and it could still not be enough. It can be something, but not what you’re truly desiring. 
It’s like deciding you’re going to move on, but not wanting to hurt the person you’re leaving behind. 
Their all could be the perfect amount for someone else, but unfortunately, wasn’t enough for me.
It’s a song about figuring out I wasn’t fulfilled where I was and not settling.
