In the space of two short years Shlømo has quickly established himself alongside the likes of Marcelus, Bambounou, Francois X and the Antinote Records crew as a key figure in Paris’ current techno generation. Having established his own Taapion Records label in 2013 and built a roster around a core of local producers including Roman Poncet, PVNV and Antigone, in addition to enlisting Stephen Brown, Conforce and Sterac as remixers for the label’s releases so far.

For its fifth release, Bright Sounds - run by fellow Parisian Kennedy Smith - revisits last year’s Rechaïm ‎EP (BSRX003), with a trio of remixers offering their own takes on Shlømo’s established deep and expansive sound.

First up is the aforementioned 50 Weapons artist Bambounou, who offers a dynamic groove-based version of the title track that bounces along an elastic kick drum with cut-up fragments of the original’s atmospheric pads providing further impetus.  Label owner Kennedy Smith takes on Theory Is The Worst by bringing its dub textures to the for while filling the track’s empty spaces with intricate drum patterns.

Finally, Italian techno pioneer Donato Dozzy turns Grounded Queen into a classic Dozzy slow-burning techno trip, with his trademark layered sound complimenting the track’s subtle rhythmic backbone.

“You know it's true, don't you?" You know it's true, sometimes emotions can be darn unsettling and disturbing – as they flow deep down our consciousness uncovering fears, thoughts and feelings. Yes, if we're focused too much on our personal hedonistic euphorias, sometimes we lose that... It gets lost; You know it's true. You may know it's true.

Manfredi Romano aka Dj Tennis shapes this treasure, a release that is decisively out of the box; a small cathedral made of subtle shades and unusual EQ's, where ideas seduce and frighten.

That's “Divisions”, led by Danish singer and guitarist Jeppe Kjellberg. Who's words and voice are carefully crafted as a precious, poisoning weapon of concern and bewilderment; as it is “Chirality” a deep, insistent, gelid voyage. Which distinctively in this round, We find ourselves not only with Tennis' masterful production skills but also the astounding addition of Sophie Trudeau's string work – she's been the driving force behind the string sections of legendary Canadian post-rockers Godspeed You Black Emperor, one of the most dark, cinematic and unsettling rock acts of the last decades – which really ads a poignant and visionary mood and emotions we rarely encounter and by that we can rarely breathe.

The original edits have been respectfully and creatively revisited by techno pioneer Roman Flügel, who masterfully rubs “Divisions”; turning it into a sensual, devious, laid down affaire. Lastly, closing the ride , the legendary English duo Plaid - true masters and innovators within the Intelligent Dance Music field- grace “Chirality” with their very own touch made of alien sounds, mutant rhythm architectures, warm dynamics and heartbreaking melodic caresses that iconically represents their visions.

Buchla était sur la côté ouest (San Francisco), Moog Music Inc.​ sur la côte Est.
Buchla était un proche de Owsley Stanley, chimiste et producteur de LSD.
La légende dit qu’Owsley avait chez lui 3 réfrigérateurs, un pour la viande, un pour le reste de nourriture, et un pour le LSD 
C'était la période des Acids Tests (soirées ou le LSD était distribué à l’entrée), avec notamment la fréquente participation des Grateful Dead​.
Voilà, ce fameux module rouge imbibé de LSD daterait donc de cette période
Un peu plus qu'une légende.

Nostromo is the new collaborative project of Berlin-based producers Sarin & Unhuman, known for some EBM and industrial killer releases under their solo aliases on Aufnahme + Wiedergabe, Instruments of Discipline or Amok Tapes. On that first EP, they cooked some heavy minimal analog basslines fused with intricately woven samples, to create mutating and hypnotic dancefloor killers !
