The phrase “FOOTMAHI” was first brought to light by BFC founding member MUSHMANE of Tainui.

The story goes that the BFC were huddled up drinking a communal slab of 8% Cody’s on a bitterly cold Ōtautahi winters afternoon watching a young in-form Shaun Johnson absolutely tear the Sydney Roosters defence to shreds with his electric “footwork” - when Mushmane screamed out “LOOK AT THE FOOTMAHI” changing the course of BFC history forever all in the birthplace of The Big Fresh Collective; The Parage on 40A Richill Street, Belfast, Ōtautahi.

French collective Craquages present their second VA 'CRAQUAGES VOL.2', gathering 11 tracks crafted by carefully selected artists from the Bass/Break scene, asking each to paint their personnal view of "club music". BisouBisou, one of the 3 co-founders, who rides between the sugary tracks of his mix series R’n’Break and the bitter beats of his duo Les Déménageurs Bressons, comes strong with his track 'Kassos Social Club' on this compilation.

With this track, BisouBisou conveys his personnal view of what creates that jubilation when playing club tools, scrounging here and there in his prefered electronic styles like DnB, Juke and Techno music selected elements and details. 'Kassos Social Club', with its twisted and glitched breaks alongside gripping drums and minimalist vocals, comes out as a redoubtable club tool that'll definitely shake the dancefloors that'll encounter its power. Today we premiere "Sentinel Runner," by new-gen junglist, Nectax, whose been making big waves! With huge support from folks like Nia Archives, Sully, Sherelle, Om unit, and DJ Storm songs from Nectax's forthcoming "Body Talk EP" have already made it to underground anthem status. Nectax's refined style draws inspiration from mid-‘90s deep atmospheric jungle and US footwork flavors. The Body Talk EP features 4 tracks that distinctly tie together - pristinely produced, bass heavy, future-facing music that respects roots and foundation. SHERELLE and NAINA launch their highly anticipated label Hooversound with 'BS6'.

Bringing together Bristol based DJ /producer Hyroglifics and Detroit DJ/ producer Sinistarr for an exciting dancefloor-ready EP, ‘BS6’ sees two of the most consistent and exciting names in the underground electronic music scene join forces. 

Having both released on iconic labels in the past (Sinistarr with Exit Records, Hospital, Metalheadsz whilst Hyroglifics with Critical, Astrophonica, 1985 Music - to name a few), the two producers shine in this new collaborative EP which merges together elements of footwork, jungle and techno. 

The EP features two collaborative tracks that stand by two solo tracks from each producer. Electronic pioneer and legend Scratcha DVA brings his GQOM and moody percussion on the official remix.
