On March the 7th we were invited to support Colleen "Cosmo" Murphy (@colleen-cosmo-murphy)and Francois K(@fknyc)for the first of Cosmo's Cosmodelica series in Brixton. Little did we know it would be our last night out for a long time. It was the only party of the series that went ahead, we're sure there will be more in the future but for now enjoy the recording. x

Kapote aka Mathias Modica is the driving force behind Berlin’s Toy Tonics. The label has become a trusted buy-on-sight imprint known for its Nu Disco, Soul, Funk, Disco and Jazzy House releases. 

Thanks to Kapote’s musical background (he studied jazz piano and music production before getting into the DJ world) the label has gone on to explore new realms of musical influences and redefine how these soulful, disco-orientated sounds are presented. From the productions and artwork to their (packed!) parties held at some incredible unused spaces in Berlin and merch that goes as quickly as it drops, Toy Tonics has managed to achieve what many other labels strive to get right - authenticity, organic creativity, a killer roster of artists, a loyal fan base and parties that go fully off!
