BJMM is the long time collaboration of Trebuchet(Brian Korte) and Justin St. John. This is BJMM's second cover and one of the more popular Modest Mouse songs. Took a 3.5min song and morphed it BJMM style, into 6min.

 Modest Mouse has been an integral part of every rock playlist since high school. Truly a great road trip band. Favorite album is probably Lonesome Crowded West.

Came home barely before the sun shown, in a fog in a dream couldn't sleep. I had to produce something to get the weird energy out, and this was the result. You can hear the dawn cats fighting outside in the background at the end.

BJMM has had many amazing jam days. This was pulled out and produced from a jam day session we had last year. Its a perfect lil banger to showcase the multi talents of Justin St. John. He's killin it on the drums and guitar in this track!
Lyrics: ...I was playing around with some reverb settings so i didn't write anything down and these were improvised... I bit off of some 'acetone alone' lyrics with out even realizing it.

Auriga at Hutches with Lucy and Josh spawned this vibe. I was listening to a lot of Bassa Nova at the time of production and the swing is definitely there. Justin added the perfect drums and it sealed the deal and brought the track alive!
