1. "Allez Gros !" : Revient aux racines avec l'adaptation surprenante de Macbeth de Shakespeare revisitée à la sauce clavecin et kick lourds

2. "Boing Boing !" : Une composition originale qui nous emmène dans les tréfonds d'un jazz bar où le flow poétique chaloupé relate une improbable déclaration d'amour sur des airs de swing et de hot jazz.

3. Une reprise moderne et brute du classique "Porque te Vas" de Jeanette, empreinte de mélancolie et de fraîcheur pour une énergie abrasive et radicale

4. "Vous avez dit Bizarre ?" : Une exploration sonore fascinante, basée sur des samples capturés dans le quartier unique et préservé de Kau Wa Keng à Hong Kong. Temples bouddhistes, mantras et bruits urbains s’entrelacent pour offrir une atmosphère immersive et introspective.

Tree-Angles x El Carnicero "Vous Avez dit Bizarre?" (Did You Say Bizarre?)  is the unlikely encounter of a versatile DJ/beatmaker, Tree-Angles, and a comedian, illustrator and musician, El Carnicero, for a wild recording session based on 4 instrumentals created between 2017 and 2019...  

A unique hip-hop EP where the sharp productions of Tree-Angles highlight the incredible vocal range of El Carnicero: from spoken word to raw rock, with lyrical escapes in between. He skillfully adapts to the varied sounds and eclectic inspirations of Tree-Angles, taking you on an adventurous musical journey.  

1. "Allez Gros!": Returning to the roots with a surprising adaptation of Shakespeare's Macbeth, revisited with harpsichord and heavy kicks.
 
2. "Boing Boing!": An original composition that takes us to the depths of a jazz bar, where a poetic flow sways through an improbable love declaration, accompanied by swing grooves and hot jazz melodies. 
 
3. A modern and raw cover of the classic "Porque te Vas" by Jeanette, filled with melancholy and freshness, offering abrasive and radical energy.  

4. "You Said Weird?": A fascinating sonic exploration, based on samples captured in the unique and preserved Kau Wa Keng neighborhood in Hong Kong. Buddhist temples, mantras, and urban noises intertwine to create an immersive and introspective atmosphere.  

With this EP, Tree-Angles and El Carnicero showcase their ability to push the boundaries of hip-hop by blending classical influences, sonic explorations, and contemporary creativity.

From the top of the island of Cheung Chau to its narrow streets, the duo ►►△ TREE-ANGLES comes back with a tribal sound punctuated by the percussion of spiritual rhythms: ceremonies past that haunt the Hong Kong nights.
For this new EP, they collaborate with several cutting edge artists. SEVEN PRIMŒ from Colombia delivers power and flow with cloud and trap influences punctuating his rapping over the original. This is followed by a breaks remix, with UK bass influences from #NORMAL. To conclude, a deconstructed, almost possessed, and all distorted version comes courtesy of Hong Konger SHELF INDEX.
The EP is accompanied by a video, directed by Preston Hartwick and made in Cheung Chau, illustrating the spiritual universe and local influences that inspired the duo.
