Sebastian is a return to the bands more dreamy works and contains infectious melodies and sunshine harmonies. A love letter to love, Sebastian is ambiguous, sensual and chimes with the great alt-pop of the late-eighties/early-nineties in particular Orange Juice and Husker Du whom the band name check during its chiming and joyous three minutes.

As a gift to all those that have supported them over these last two years, Tree of Wolves have released a free download of Sleepwalking, the title track to their debut EP. 
Sleepwalking is far more melancholic than the bands previous releases and is an early signpost of where the band will be taking their sound in the near future when they release their debut album which they are currently demoing. 
Taking inspiration from Billy Liar, Sleepwalking perfectly suits these dark and windy nights but offers a stream of light and hope to all those feeling the pinch of Winter.

Sleepwalking

Tree of Wolves are a new five piece from the depths of South West Wales. Having spent time in ‘Nant Y Benglog’ with producer John Lawrence (ex Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci) shaping their first single out of the still snowy foothills of Snowdonias rugged mountains. 'Icy Water’ will be released in May, casting it’s shimmering light over winter's final retreat.

Icy Water

Five disparate individuals forged a collective mind after meeting as part of the artistic community that grew around The Parrot music venue in Carmarthen West Wales.  Escaping in the winter of 2013 to John Lawrence (Gorky's Zygotic Mynci) studio in the heart of Snowdonia Tree Of Wolves forged a sound that is romantic and shimmering yet robust with post punk energy. 

Taking in classic English literature, Laurel Canyon sunshine melody, and European androgynous pop the Tree of Wolves sound is akin to 'Tusk' era Fleetwood Mac and early indecipherable R.E.M. The band are an infectious live presence and over the course of six singles and a critically acclaimed debut EP (that boasted a collaboration with David R Edwards  from iconic welsh band Datblygu) the band have built a loyal fan-base.
