New York/Eugene-based artist Julia Oldham has a gallery and video installation opening April 2, 2015 at the Pataphysical Society in Portland, Oregon. I was so honored she asked me to compose the soundtrack for her five minute animation illustrating the adventures of Laika, one of the first animals in outer space!

the hell-bent & heaven sent (demo)

This is the first version of a piece commissioned by Syd Devine and Christopher Squier for their performance piece "Keepers." The uploaded track is not the version that will be used in the final performance.

Presented as part of Embark Gallery’s show Enact at the SF International Arts Festival, Keepers borrows the historical architecture of the Alcatraz Lighthouse as a stage for sculpture, video animation, and choreography. Through these visual elements, an apocalyptic saga unfolds, chronicling the end of Alcatraz. The keeper is left behind, tending to the lighthouse as it withstands wind and weather before it collapses into a state of decay and eventually crumbles into the waves.

Tree branch Twig is the experimental solo project of multi-instrumentalist Lindsay K. With a background in both art and music history, TbT blends not only the audial influences of drone and improvisation, but also attempts to transform the visual elements of collage by exploring the texture of sound, movement of shape, color of tone, and the weight of silence.
