Finds is an album formed in the spirit of the various people, places, treasures, and memories that accumulate in life which bring joy and refuse to be totally forgotten, sometimes lost but always found again. Eclectic and subgenre-straddling, these electronic tracks from 2021-2024 include inspiration from hip hop, techno, jazz, house, ambient, and various types of dance, and are curated by merit of being the most likely yet of treehann’s catalog to get stuck in one’s head.

I've been thrilled to work this month with material provided by one of my favorite musicians, Owsey.  This contest has given an opportunity to grow my mixing/composing abilities further and to work under more interesting constraints (e.g. time limit) than I normally do.  A self-imposed constraint was to primarily use the stems provided and few of my own samples to make something similar but different from the original.  The vocal sampling Owsey does in much of his other music inspired me a lot in the past, so I focused this remix on chopping up the vocals and using the pieces rhythmically & melodically.  In the end, I came out with something that I enjoy listening to, and I hope others can enjoy as well.  Let's all keep on growing!
