Next up in the series, we welcome DJ, producer, and conscious artist @itsams__ Representing a new generation of creatives, her deep, percussive, and introspective sound blends modern house with a forward-thinking vision of club culture. From her debut on Nervous Records to standout EPs on Shall Not Fade and sets across Europe, Ams is carving out a distinct space—connecting people through music and purpose.

Here’s her perspective on how the mix came together:

“I loved putting together this 90-minute mix. I really took my time to let it build slowly, keeping things deep and percussive throughout. I tried to hold onto a sexy groove all the way, guided by hypnotic drums and subtle shifts in energy. Most of the tracks are from the early 00s, with a few recent gems that just fit the vibe. It’s deep house with character — playful, a bit sensual, always pushing forward. It starts with my latest ambient track, setting a dreamy and ethereal atmosphere…”

The Phonica series drifts Amsterdam way for the next addition in its series with not one but two of the cities most prominent artists. Kamma & Masalo supply separately in their sets nothing but magical moments so when you have the chance to see them play together it is that times two and some. Appearing regularly at festivals like Dekmantel and Japan's Rainbow Disco Club to name a few, the duo have played some of the best clubs around the world. For Phonica 131 Kamma and Masalo have the dancefloor in mind with a mix focused on their beginnings in the underground club scene of their upbringing. We had a quick chat with them about the mix and what they have coming up!
