Check out this heavy and deep set from the Japanese label DJ of Zenon Records - EMIRI! Emiri comes from a family of composers, which has immersed her in music from an early age. She used to wander into CD shops in search of new sounds and learned to play the piano. Additionally, she attended dance lessons in the US where she was born. After living as a fashion model in Italy, she started organizing events in 2018. In 2021, Emiri joined Zenon Records and released her first V.A. compilation album in 2023. Fascinated by deep, hypnotic, psychedelic, and tribal sounds, she will transport you to another world.

The project combines the old-school and simple sounds with the new-age technology to create a journey through sound. The project is saturated with musical influences from the artists such as Union Jack, Art Of Trance, Captain Hook, Simon Posford, X Dream and more. This set captures Artmis' unreleased original music, starting with low BPM and dark, psychedelic energies, gradually building to high BPM and energetic vibes.

PSYDEWISE is In Focus with us this time with a live set focusing on his latest projects, a much more refined production, as he says, compared to his earlier material. Born in Cape Town, South Africa during the late 80s, Psydewise was fortunate enough to grow up with a wide selection of alternative music introduced to him by his weird and wonderful parents. He was introduced to psychedelic trance by his aunt, who used to make mini discs with all the latest vinyl at the time, like Infinity Project, Hallucinogen, GMS, Infected Mushroom, Grapes of Wrath, Cosma, Atomic Pulse, Antix and Artefact were just a few that really rewired and inspired him! After moving to the UK and meeting people who were using Ableton Live, was the first time he used the program and was hooked. He taught himself most of what he knows today but it would never have been possible without the incredible collective knowledge of out beautiful psychedelic trance community!

PSYDEWISE | In Focus | 09/03/2024

Fynex is the solo project of Frederic Jauvin, a 40 years old french musician who lives in Bordeaux, in the south of France. Introduced to what is called nowadays "psytrance" around 2000 with the famous Gaia parties, he felt in love with the genre and decided to study it...to eventually produce his own music later. 

Between 2005 and 2007, he has invested his money to build a proper studio and learn how to make electronic music ( and more particularly psytrance and progressive trance ) with a computer... and he was lucky enough to meet , and become close friend, with some experienced producers such as Talamasca, X.S.I, and Deedrah, who have invited Fynex in their studio many times to show him a lot of studio tricks that will be useful for him as a producer...and he learned quite well because only few months after this, Fynex finally released his first EP : " TRANSCENDENTAL STATE " on GEOMAGNETIC records, a label who has become famous to discover the new talents of tomorrow . 

Fynex is of course playing as a Dj but he's working on his first album after the success of his first EP, and when the album will be ready he will begin to perform live. He had his first party as a Dj in the GIBUS club, a very well known club of the Paris underground city life, for TEKNO TANZ, very well known promoter of the gaia parties in France. The reaction of the public in that event was so amazing that it motivated him to play more and more, ( and maybe in a larger scale, including some progressive trance mixes when he happens to begin or to close a party ...) and he already produced few mixes for online radios such as midiradio, and of course the famous WWW.PSYCHEDELIK.COM .
