In the first edition of Refractor we had the pleasure of having the presence of a living music legend. Starting his career in the 90's as one of the pioneers of goa and psy trance (Shakta, Digitalis...), Seb Taylor continued his exploration of genres giving life to @seb-taylor-kaya-project (dj set and live band) in 2004. Since then he hasn't stopped releasing music and playing all over the world showing his particular fusion of genres characterised by a great personality. 

Get ready to relive one of the most magical moments of our festival in which we could travel in time and space for more than 90 minutes.

Here is my set which took place at Oxygen stage at ☀Free Earth Festival 2024☀ Although due to the extreme weather conditions that prevailed just before the set, eventually everything flowed smoothly (with the precious help of the 2 stage managers 🙏💙) with a lot of people who seemed to enjoy the sounds of Deep Trance, Chillgressive-Progressive Chill & Midtempo Goa Trance.

DJ Savvas Kalt @ Free Earth Festival 2024

Proxeeus is Jerome Lesterps, a French dude born in southern France not too far from Avignon. 

He discovered Goa Trance in 1999 after randomly stumbling upon a track called “Aurora Borealis”, from legendary act Astral Projection, but it’s not until late 2010 that he started getting interested in trying to make this kind of music; after legitimately asking himself one evening “But how do these guys make all these noises anyway?”. 

He had no idea what he was getting into. Since that fateful day, hammering away at the computer, and fiddling with knobs is all that has been on his mind. Following his sister’s advice to post what he had done online, this enabled him to get lucky and, in 2014, be noticed by people inside the Goa Trance scene and play his first couple of sets at Belgian parties (yes Belgium, you’re that awesome <3). 

Coupled to the fact that people’s reaction to his work was surprisingly encouraging, this has done nothing to lessen his obsession, with some of his tracks starting to appear on compilations accross various labels on the ‘Net such as Goa Galaxy, Goa Madness Records, and Neogoa, with a fully-fledged album planned for 2015. 

If his style was to be summarized, one could say that it’s more or less the story of “a guy with a 303-problem”.

This new episode of the Berry Tales features the ecstatic dance DJ set from JOHNNY BLUE's side project JUANITO AZUL, as it was presented in the Intimate Session event which took place in Limassol CY on May 31, 2025 and was organised in collaboration with the Conscious Collective CY as part of our monthly series of ecstatic dance events. This is a showcase studio mix featuring selections from the latest IN'R'VOICE albums. Denny Kay has been one of the original pioneers of the Russian electronic underground since 1991. In 1995, he received an award from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation in the category "For Innovative Music for Youth."  In 1996, he relocated to London, and by 1999, Denny released his first record on London’s legendary Return To The Source Records — Shakta and In'R'Voice – Present Moment (EP/Vinyl). His second release was the double album In'R'Voice – Resonance Metaphizix (Optica Records, 2002, UK, 2CD), mastered at the iconic Abbey Road Studios in London.  Since then, Denny has released a vast amount of music — over 500 tracks — under various aliases, often concealing his identity and constantly reinventing himself across nearly every genre of electronic music. Despite these transformations, In'R'VOICE has remained his main project, weathering the shifts of the underground scene and continuing to release fresh material. The project is currently a resident of Cosmicleaf Records and is also the creative force behind other ventures such as Karmahacker.

Here's the DJ set i played as Juanito Azul (@dj-juanito-azul) on October 18 2025 in the ecstatic dance event which was organised in collaboration with the Conscious Collective CY in Limassol, Cyprus.

Like all of my DJ sets, this one was compiled, played, and mixed in a specific key/musical note — in this case, the B note, which represents the Crown Chakra.

The info about the key of each of my ecstatic dance sets is revealed and can be discovered as part of the title - either as a word or in between or within the words.

This is a freestyle and colourful musical story through various rhythms and vibes, thoughts and feelings, forming a mental and physical ecstatic dance !

Zen Baboon are Daniel Rosado and Henrique Palhavã. Both were born in the '70s in Portugal and since an early age kept a close connection with the musical world, focusing on great sound quality and original construction.

Daniel is a sound engineer that worked in a studio in Lisbon and started producing electronic music in the late 90′s.  Henrique, a zoologist, lives and works in his own farm and started as an ambient DJ, (DJ Henriq) and producer in 2001.

They got together in 2003 and decided to melt their musical preferences and create Zen Baboon.
