Lasst Euch mitnehmen und steigt ein in "cruisin' in a disco nighttrain". Das Set zieht euch für knappe zwei Stunden durch verschiedene Genres, teils verspielt und groovig, aber stehts melodisch und treibend - holding a steady flow.

It's become apparent to me that I might never live up to my name, Dylan, son of the sea. I spend most of my days on land, and with each step I more deeply lament my life on this terrain. I've stopped eating fish, like my other sea siblings, because the seals have gone hungry. Poseidon has probably never even heard of me. If only he could hear this mix and give me a gig at one of his parties in Atlantis. That would be nice.

ADHD (A Dylan Heneck Disco)

one month once ago....wow what a night!!!

The first time for me playing in a setting like this and then even in my most favorite club in Zurich <3 Though I knew I would be mostly surrounded by friends and that I was well prepared, it just didn’t stopped the buck fever beforehand. But soon standing behind the decks I enjoyed every minute!

Thanks to everyone for the support and sorry if I wasn’t able to response to everyone, I was simply overwhelmed and bit over stimulated xD

A big thank you also to Bass & Benefiz for their great work and giving me this possibility!

"The sun of a mediterranean April began to warm my sad and disheartened soul from a period psychologically long and heavy to endure. A long period that has severely tested the peoples of an entire planet. I knew that to get out of it I would have to feed my spirit with music. But I was looking for a different kind of music, far from everything I had created so far. The desire to create something syncretic, transversal, highly energetic and spiritual, rich, ancestral and melodic, grew in me. I took a cue from this global situation to think about our destiny, about our sense of belonging to this place and this time. So I looked for a sound that was stripped of any categorization. A sound capable to elude any scheme by borrowing instruments, sounds, melodies from all over the world and blending them together. Whether it was a japanese taiko, a blues or latin melody played on the guitar, a duduk (and, why not, a panflute) or the voice of an opera singer no longer mattered. These elements so distant and different from each other had to dialogue together. I asked my best friend, Ueps, to accompany me with his guitar: I needed his company to face this sonic journey. This track was originally released back in 2018 with a label. I am re-releasing it now independently after being released from that arrangement. It comes in perfect timing as my collaborator on this track Symphony has dropped the "Lunar" from her artist name and is now moving forward with her birth name of just Symphony (what a beautiful name for a musician right!?). We got brand new artwork created from my dear friend and collaborator Charlie (https://www.instagram.com/aephiclesjourney). 

This track is one that is timeless for me. It is a powerful reminder of going deep into the subtleties, keeping things minimal and hypnotic, and letting that be enough. I still play this track out in my live sets always in new forms and it is one that continues to take me and the community deep.
