Anticipate you and I remembering, delighting 13 young drummers from the slums of Rocinha, Rio de Janerio with our finger drum solo.

(Always wanted to perform a drum solo as far back as I can remember but was never possible on a drum kit. So, this composition was a chance to pretend a bit and improvise a drum solo. I use 3 fingers on right hand – sounding like drum sticks at times – and 2 on the other to tap, and for the guitar & cello strings. I hit the music box with my ring for symbol sound. Quite a physical and mental challenge to follow the echoes and maintain some cohesive rhythm. But at end, it is just a tree branch. For accomplished drummers I do hope you appreciate this effort.)

Treeotica is a percussive instrument. It is an amplified tree branch that is hooked up to a guitar FX peddle. Attached to it are cello and guitar strings, 10 second re-recordable voice module, and a windup music box.
