2024 turned out to be a very productive year for Kyiv-born and Berlin based music producer LEGAT. In March he presented the first album of his new project, “The Fall”, a dark melodic transcendent journey into the core of entropy. In June Tyler, known for his previous industrial metal project “Tyler Milchmann”, released his second full-length album under the alias LEGAT – “The Promised Land”.

7 hard techno tracks of “The Promised Land” have powerful rave energy and strong industrial atmosphere filled with distorted percussion and fat synth lines. The album reflects the feelings of pilgrimages, hopes and fears of wanderers, the acceptance of a new home, the creation of your own paradise in the middle of nowhere.

With the beginning of the project marked by the daily difficulties of the pandemic, Anderson "undercod" Gonçalves in a short time presented himself as a prodigy in the Techno scene in the Mato Grosso do Sul region, the artist is still the creator of the @Decreto-techno label, which has been gradually reviving a dormant scene, but with a lot of potential.
Little by little, he leaves his mark in places that are legends of electronic music, such as D-EDGE SP and Universo Paralello.
With some quick achievements, the DJ and undercod producer seeks every day to improve the evolution of his repertoire, also betting on a hybrid setup so that each performance is unique.

“Young Birds” is a quintessential example of the euphoric happy hardcore sound that dominated the Dutch dance scene in the mid-1990s. The track combines fast beats, uplifting melodies, and emotional vocals into an energetic, almost dreamlike experience.

The track opens with a melancholic melodic line that is soon taken over by a building kick drum and a rapid breakbeat of around 170 BPM. The characteristic vocal sample — a high-pitched, almost childlike voice singing about freedom and youth (“young birds”) — gives the song its distinctive and nostalgic character.

In terms of production, “Young Birds” perfectly showcases what defined DJ Weirdo and Dr. Phil Omanski: a blend of raw hardcore energy with melodic trance influences. The result is a track that both explodes on the dance floor and lingers in your mind thanks to its catchy melodic hook.

With its bright synths, cheerful yet slightly wistful tone, and irresistible drive, “Young Birds” stands as a true happy hardcore anthem — a soundtrack to a time when parties like Thunderdome and Rave the City set the tone for an entire generation of ravers.

TREGAMBE [tray~gam~bee] is a new record label founded and curated by Adelaide-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer Juliet Fox.

Initially the platform was used to showcase her own material, and an expression of her artwork that she painted for each of own releases. 

Juliet is now opening the label up to other like-minded  artists, who have an equal passion for music and art combined by all SENSES.

With some quick achievements, the DJ and undercod producer seeks every day to improve the evolution of his repertoire and make his productions even more unique, with his “messy” way of defining his techno, also betting on a hybrid configuration so that each performance be a new experience.
