First of all, I did NOT know until looking for a decent image for a thumbnail that there is currently a tv show named "Murderbot"--this has nothing to do with that show, I haven't seen it or heard about it...  (Hopefully the Murderbot on that show doesn't do anything...bad...)  

Second of all (and I think all=two this time), this song had been considered for Spooky Week--I just didn't know if it was really "spooky" or not.  I mean, murderous robots are scary...but they're pretty obvious.  There's no mystery or suspense involved.  Carnage--sure...but where's the fun in that?  

Well, I went ahead and did my best to make carnage fun!  

Obviously, I hold no ill-will towards anyone that the Murderbot in this latest Interbay track may have targeted.  Indeed, this whole thing came from a repurposing of a nursery rhyme that amused me when I thought of it--and, at least for the moment, that's enough for me to crack open FL Studio and start turning that silly idea into an Interbay song.  

Et, Voila!  

So, you've got four different bass sounds, a couple different drum kits...and a couple of murderbots--though, to be fair, only one of them IS Murderbot (but not the one in that tv show, as that, I assume is someone else's intellectual property and THIS Murderbot has no connection to that one...  I mean, Murderbot is a pretty common name right?  Why, there's three kids on my block whose parents have named THEM Murderbot--I'm sure it can't be either copyrighted or trademarked...can it?)  

More uptempo than most songs earning the "cyberpunk" tag, this track moves along at 143bpm and doesn't overstay its welcome, becoming one of the fairly rare Interbay tracks to clock in under 4 minutes.    

Like an Interbay FunSize track that you could disappoint trick or treaters with...  (See, I was RIGHT not to include it in Spooky Week!)  

I bet this will sound really menacing when played really loud.  So, do that!  (Unless you've got nasty neighbors and thin walls--then, headphones are your friends...and tinnitus means the medication is WORKING!  Unless, I misheard that...)  

Please listen to "Murderbot, Murderbot" and give it a like.  Consider reposting it, sharing it with friends, adding it to a playlist of yours, or leaving a positive comment about it!
