For the newest Animix, Thailand based DJ & producer @sunjuhargun has put together a beautiful downtempo trance exploration. Sunju co-curates @siamesetwinsrecords , an amazing label which focuses on trance-y, psychedelic sounds from Asian based artists. 

Sunju has a multitude of impressive releases under his name, as well as aliases Mogambo and Khun Fluff, and a plethora of beautiful mixes - which always seem to find the perfect balance between emotional and driving. Sunju has been a household name across the region for over a decade, playing spaced out music in forests, warehouses, and castles.

@lunaludmila has been developing and maturing her sound over the years, while always focussing on providing a hypnotic trip for the listener. She already played several clubs around Europe, such as Shelter and Bret in Amsterdam, Eden Bucharest, Frieda's Buxe in Zurich, Sisyphos Berlin, as well as frequently curating her own club night in her hometown Utrecht (NL).
Playing for people is one of her favorite things to do, but she spends most of her time in her studio. This led her to previous releases on @rogergerressen well-respected Irenic imprint, the renowned @berg_audio and @sohaso. With multiple releases planned, including a vinyl-only solo EP on @statelymusic, the coming years looks bright and promising for this ardent little ginger.

Piers Kirwan returns with COLLABS, a forward-thinking four-track EP that celebrates connection, global creativity, and the raw spirit of deep underground music. Blending deep house, broken beat, soulful textures and richly layered rhythms, COLLABS brings together a trio of standout artists from three corners of the world, each adding their own voice, story and soul.

At the heart of the project is Detroit lyricist Javonntte, whose smoky, poetic vocals cut through the groove with unmistakable Motor City emotion. Toronto’s Jeremy Glenn steps in with his signature smooth delivery and textured harmonies, bridging soulful house and nu-disco sensibilities. Rounding out the EP is Cornwall-based vocalist Dalena, whose airy, ethereal presence brings a fresh UK edge to the project.

Across four tracks, Piers Kirwan blends intricate drum programming, warm analogue synths, deep basslines and broken-beat swing, each collaboration unfolding like a conversation between artists separated by geography but united through rhythm.
