It was called Matt MacQueen versus Trent Abbe, Sunset Session One. The time was May of 1996.  This was the beginning of something that Matt ran with.   "Two meet at sunset to match wits and wax, always one for one, a gentleman's tradition"

It was an honor to be asked to perform a DJ mix at Dave's memorial fundraiser. I started putting this mix together the day I was asked to perform. This mix is basically what I played at the Marble Bar event plus 5 or 6 tracks added to the body of the mix. I re-recorded the mix at my home studio where I had minimum constraints and distractions. By having no time limit and using my own gear I was able to settle on it. My goal was to pack this mix with love from beginning to end. Thank you Dave for all the good times and welcoming smiles! We love you and you will always be missed. As the closing song states, "Here's To You".  Enjoy all these Bass Pulses!  This one's for you!
