Another collaboration with my good friend Tom Pritchard, this time featuring the lovely vocals of Holly Nelson aka A Million Tiny Architects (along with me and Tom as well... just for good measure). I'd like to extend a huge "thank you" to Holly for lending her brilliant vocal stylings to this song.

Both Tom & Holly worked on the original song structure and vocals before sending it my way, where I fleshed out the ending, tinkered with the mix and arrangement and added some more vocals & guitar parts.

Update: so, nine years after this was written, apparently it was the subject of an online hunt - I genuinely love that for a brief moment it was "lost media" of a sort :) I've updated the download links above so it should work again.

Vancore - Voices (Chill Study Music)

It is one of the most anticipated Global DJ Broadcast episodes every year, and for many a highlight of the summer (no pressure guys!), where I dedicate myself to crafting a special 2 hour mix containing some of the most beautiful melodies and early morning moments that have graced the beaches and shores of Ibiza and beyond - the Sunrise Set.

After 3 months of preparation in ensuring that this would be a journey to remember and appreciated, I showcased it to the world on Global DJ Broadcast, and as requested by the fans, here it is for all of you to enjoy and stream at your leisure.

Anders Trentemøller has become one of the most respected names in cutting edge electronic music in the last few years. His rise to notoriety was sparked by his early, techy releases for Poker Flat and Audiomatique and has since gone on to stellar highs with his own personal take on the  genre, spanning, pop, rock, indie and classical. His debut album 'The Last Resort‘ was released in 2006 to much international acclaim, and the producer also began to become an in-demand remixer in the house and techno world.

Copenhagen’s Anders Trentemøller has long been respected as a creator of extraordinarily memorable melodies and dark soundscapes. While many artists follow a pattern of invention and reinvention, Anders’ arc has been a series of points along the same curve, playing the long game with each release representing the next chapter in a constantly evolving series.

Dreamweaver continues on this track, combining elements of shoegaze, dark wave, motorik, noise rock and somber, introspective takes on electronic pop but in a considerably more psychedelic manner.
