There is a discernible revival for the short lived ambient-house genre. This is surely a sign that the 90's are getting the retro love it deserves, and I'm all for it.  Interest for this era has never been higher in eons. Those tracks are full of space-alien references, obscure movies from the 90's, meditation lectures from gurus of that time and dreamy pads with acid leads. Most of these tracks found their way onto the shelves of many discerning listeners in the 90's thanks to a frothy mix of dubwise ambient house and melodic electronica aimed for post-club melting sessions. There are a select few DJs who can go deep while spanning genres and eras - still keeping the flow and the floor intact. It's rare that David Siska  ( @david-siska ) doesn't play a set that is a tribute to his time deeply involved in Chicago's sweat-drenched loft parties and burgeoning techno club scene, and his devotion to the sounds of Detroit and its most diverse DJs. He co-hosts the Sonic Sunset radio show turned mixshow - continuing its long-standing tradition of taking in a wide swath of dance music and through a scarcely definable but undeniable common thread, making it mean something as a unified whole. He's a resident DJ with San Francisco's renowned As You Like It crew as well as the music community-centric Run The Length Of Your Wildness.

Well the way I see it it's exactly the same. There ain't no difference between a flying saucer and a time machine. People get so hung up on specifics. They miss out on seeing the whole thing. Take South America for example. In South America thousands of people go missing every year. Nobody knows where they go. They just like disappear.
