Around 10 minutes in is pretty funny..   This is the Off Sonar Party we did when we were still called Children Of The Drum (Luca Mauro, Dario Damerini, and Tres Manos).  The whole night was pretty solid musically and there are 3 other parts but this one keeps coming up because around 10 minutes in is when we had to explain that Dj Rolando is a dick and that because of his bad attitude he would not be DJing for us and that all his fee would be used to buy drinks for everyone inside the club, all night. New on Davide Squillace's label This And That Lab is the third in a series of their mixed artist releases titled 'Spring Summer Fall Winter', and the latest edition features original tracks from Kerri Chandler, Francisco Allendes, Raw District, Neverdogs, Lorenzo Bartoletti, Tres Manos, Romulo and Manuel Del Giudice.

Releasing one edition for each season of the year, it is split into two volumes, this time titled 'SSFW #3A' and 'SSFW #3B'. Focusing on textures both audible and visual, the series combines fresh talents with veteran artists, whilst also covering a wide spectrum of house with the occasional hit of techno.

Part A opens with a track from house music legend Kerri Chandler, whose deep and atmospheric cut 'The Art Of Conversation' is the perfect way to get the LP started. Chilean artist Francisco Allendes switches things up with his party track 'Inca Roads', which is in the style he has championed via releases on labels such as Desolat and Snatch! Records.

Tres Manos is an emerging talent from Spain who has previously been featured on Justified Cause, plus Om Records, and he takes things back down again with his track 'Late Night Lady' that has classic chords blended with soothing vocal bursts. Part A is boxed off by Manuel Del Giudice whose sensual track has a seductive vocal layered over rippling pads.

Tres Manos, also known as Your Only Friend and Jessica Saves, is a revered figure in the underground electronic music scene. With an illustrious 30-year career, he has been involved in almost every aspect of the dance music and nightclub industry.   
Originally a raver from Washington D.C., Tres Manos actually began his DJ career in 1992 in Denver, unknowingly setting the stage for a lifelong dedication to music. In 1998, he transplanted to the heart of Barcelona, Spain, where he took on a leadership role in the city's thriving Underground House and Techno scene. From owning one of the first underground record shops and organising some of the original Off-Sonar parties, “Radar” and “Soñar”, to building one of the first techno sound systems at Burning Man in 1996, Tres Manos has always been a pioneer in the global underground scene.
His sound, deeply personal and momentous, has not only marked his presence in renowned venues around the globe, but also secured him residencies in iconic events such as Davide Squillace's "This and That” and "Zoo Project" in Ibiza.
In addition to his remarkable DJ career, Tres Manos is a formidable producer, recognised for his distinctive and in-the-moment sound. He is a master of his craft, often lending his own vocals to his productions. His musical creations find homes on revered labels such as This and That, Om Records, Aesoteric, Cyclo, Detour, Loudeast, and SoundBlack. Furthermore, Tres Manos has established his own imprint, Your Only Friend Recordings, serving as a platform for esteemed artists like Rick Wade and Lady Blacktronika.
Tres Manos' enduring legacy is a testament to his unwavering commitment to the authentic underground sound.
