Sorry is about reflecting on past relationships. When I entered my first relationship, I thought I was so grown up - but really, I had no business being there. Love is vulnerable yet strong. To understand its depths, we must participate in apology and grace. This song is a chance to say ‘I’m sorry’ to people I’ve not loved as well as I could have. But it’s also a chance to say ‘I’m sorry’ to God because he’s given me so much that I’ve taken for granted.
