Live @ Steamworks 3/10/18

Steamworks Sessions, a new series of recorded live mixes at Steamworks.

My hope for this residency is to expand my sound into where sexy bathhouse grooves meet my love for the dance floor... where all of it goes down in the same sonic space. A blend of relaxed, beach vibe tech house with deep beats and and a groove that'll move you whether you're on your feet, on your back, or however else you want it.

In addition to playing deeper sounds while focusing more on nuance, I hope to improve my on-the-fly track selection skills (particularly around smooth multi-track energy builds) and to get closer to perfecting the levels/smoothness/tightness of the mix. I'm also working on the overall sound quality in relation to the setup at the venue. Bear with me as I get used to navigating their booth. The recording inputs and speaker output situation there takes some finesse.

BIO:
Trever Pearson is a Portland based DJ spinning deep, funky, dirty house. With roots in San Francisco and Black Rock City, his vibe brings dance to the party. Servin' it hot for hours on end is what you can expect when he's behind decks. And he's looking forward to playing for YOU.

Trever is currently resident with Rise & Shine in Ashland, building a heart centered house music community in the Rogue Valley. He's also a regular with Perfect Pleasures at the Eagle PDX. His former SF residencies included Steamworks, Stank, and Friendly Fire, and he was often found playing with BAAAHS on Playa and at many of SF's favorite nightclubs including: Public Works, the Great Northern / Mighty, Space550, Temple, 1015, F8, Powerhouse, Oasis, etc...
