I wrote this song in tribute to my sister, Sue, who very sadly died from lung cancer on 14th August 2023. She was a widow and she shared her home with Harry, her beloved Dachshund dog, who is referenced in the song.

I write my songs about real people and real experiences, and this track is no exception.

My Lady of Spain.

This song followed a cruise holiday on which a Filipino waitress served breakfast in one of the ship's restaurants. She sang along to to the background music that was playing each morning and she had the most incredibly beautiful voice!  She insisted that she was "only a bathroom singer", so I decided to write this song and send it to her. She has probably the most beautiful female voice I have ever been privileged to hear.
