En 1995, Sebastian asistió a sus primeras fiestas en búnkeres y descubrió su pasión por la música
electrónica. En 1998, finalmente empezó a pinchar bajo el nombre de Sebastian Keks. Como DJ 100% vinilo con una dedicación total, su sonido está profundamente arraigado en el techno de los 90. En octubre de 2000, Sebastian y su hermano gemelo fundaron el grupo Umweltpumpe1, que inicialmente se centró en eventos techno. En 2002, Umweltpumpe1 evolucionó hasta convertirse en el pequeño sello techno Up1 Records. Desde 2004 hasta su cierre en 2013, Sebastian fue DJ residente en Triebwerk Dresden. En 2014,lanzó la serie de eventos techno Nachteulen y Berlin. Desde marzo de 2024, es miembro de SUT – SecretUnderground Techno. En 2005, Umweltpumpe1 celebró su primera fiesta bajo el nombre de Gepflegtes Klopfen en Triebwerk Dresden, a la que siguieron otros eventos en Alemania y Polonia. En 2024, lanzó otro proyecto: "Gepflegtes Klopfen Series", un canal de podcast centrado en publicar sesiones techno de varios
DJs sin florituras ni artificios.
Desde 2025, es presentador de radio con su propio programa, "Kekscore Moments", en Evosonic Radio.Musicalmente, Sebastian es sinónimo de versatilidad y un agudo sentido del momento perfecto.
Ya sean clásicos de la vieja escuela de los 90 o lanzamientos actuales, sabe cómo transmitir emociones,crear tensión y crear sesiones que te conmueven.


In 1995, Sebastian attended his first bunker parties and discovered his passion for electronic music. In 1998, he finally began DJing under the name Sebastian Keks. As a 100% vinyl DJ with total dedication, his sound is deeply rooted in 90s techno. In October 2000, Sebastian and his twin brother founded the group Umweltpumpe1, which initially focused on techno events. In 2002, Umweltpumpe1 evolved into the small techno label Up1 Records. From 2004 until its closure in 2013, Sebastian was a resident DJ at Triebwerk Dresden. In 2014, he launched the Nachteulen and Berlin techno event series. Since March 2024, he has been a member of SUT – SecretUnderground Techno. In 2005, Umweltpumpe1 held his first party under the name Gepflegtes Klopfen at Triebwerk Dresden, followed by other events in Germany and Poland. In 2024, he launched another project: "Gepflegtes Klopfen Series," a podcast channel focused on publishing techno sets from various DJs, without any frills or artifice. Since 2025, he has been a radio presenter with his own show, "Kekscore Moments," on Evosonic Radio. Musically, Sebastian is synonymous with versatility and a keen sense of perfect timing. Whether it's old-school classics from the '90s or current releases, he knows how to convey emotion, build tension, and create sets that move you.

On this transmission from RIOT HQ we're broadcasting a set we had in storage for such eventualities of NOT having a show to transmit. That's because Nomad forgot to book a guest for this one due to losing his Father in December there after a short and furiously aggresive illness he developed, so we went into the spank bank of sets not used for A Squad back-ups ................... 

This was recorded many years ago, no track list, for once, as Nomad was mortal at an after party or maybe it wiz in here @ RIOT HQ, we dunno. Anyhoo, on this spank bank back-up set Nomad is soooooo playing with himself (fnaaaaar fnaaaaaar) on this one. He doesn't remember recording it at all but it's defo him.

It was recorded with not a care of a jot in the world when he wasn't worried about wot people thought of him, his mixin' or before the show / label got into the level of love it reached. Something he thinks has been lost over the years and wishes he could mix with this much free-will and devil-me-care again. Time for Nomad to kick himself up his arse and get back on it or wot. 

So this is NOMAD UNLEASHED .................... something he actually REALLY needed to hear and find belief in himself again as he’s been really very lost lately due to losing his Father. This is some stuff, even if we do say so ourselves.

Bleep Radio #720 - Trevor Wilkes [Wake Me Up]

Sebastian Keks hails from Berlin, a city steeped in electronic music history. From a young age, in 1998, he was drawn to the raw, tactile experience of vinyl records, which became the foundation of his lifelong love for techno culture.
As an advocate for vinyl culture, Resident DJ at the Legendary Triebwerk Dresden over 10 years.

Beyond his DJ career, Sebastian Keks has made a significant impact with his productions. With a series of well-received EPs released on various labels, he showcases his deep understanding of the vinyl format while pushing the boundaries of techno with each new project. His work reflects both the timelessness of analog and the forward-thinking energy of the modern scene, cementing his place as a respected figure within both the Berlin techno scene and the broader European electronic music landscape.
In 2014, he launched the event series Nachteulen and Berlin Techno. Since March 2024, he has been a member of SUT - Secret Underground Techno.
In 2005, Umweltpumpe1 organized its first party under the name Gepflegtes Klopfen at Triebwerk Dresden, followed by additional events in Germany and Poland. In 2024, another project was launched: Gepflegtes Klopfen Series, a podcast channel focused on publishing techno sets by various DJs without any frills or gimmicks.
Since 2025 Radio Host for his own Radio show, Kekscore Moments, every first Saturday in month 6-8 pm on evosonic radio.
