Reflections is a somewhat irregularly occurring dj series.

This was a night like no other!  This is the live recording from my warmup set for LadyK, the world’s first pole-dancing DJ.

The sold-out show also featured internationally renowned pole dancers, Femme Natale, and Stephanie Allester.

Reflections: Amapiano Warmup For LadyK

One of the first local burning man fundraiser parties I attended in BC was Winter is Coming II (in 2014!)and the subsequent parties have consistently been one of my brightest nights of the long, grey winters here. What an absolute pleasure to be able to play this sixth edition of Winter is Coming as we come out the other side of the dark night that is the pandemic. 

This set starts off with an extra special deep house track featuring vocals by my dear friend Emily M. Cheung and ends on a rather epic dance music note, courtesy of the ACRAZE remix of one of my favourite Sam Smith tracks ever. Moody and dark, moving into energetic and sassy; probably perfect for your pre-party prep or just a warm up to an epic dance sesh at home. Enjoy!

Recorded live on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Skwxwú7mesh, S’ólh, and səlilwətaɬ peoples with deep gratitude to the Black and queer roots of house music.

A wonderful weekend in late July with a group of friends celebrating a dear friend's birthday (https://soundcloud.com/ladyk108) underneath a driftwood shelter in the most beautiful bay on the north side of Vancouver Island.
