My first orchestral premiere. Through the Sky is a short story of a journey through an airport, with the anxiety of the trip to the melancholy of waiting on the plane to the elation of finally arriving.

Through the Sky

Ripples on the Pond is supposed to evoke the feeling of sitting by a pond and watching the ripples flow. The piece ebbs and flows with each ripple, and sometimes you'll feel a small rush as a new ripple forms. The piece ends calmly as the water calms.

Ripples On The Pond

The premiere of my new solo piano piece, Swirling Stream, performed by the incredible Helen Kohler!

This piece evokes the motion, yet inherent stagnancy of the swirls of water on the edges of a stream. I imagine a leaf trapped in these swirls, unable to get free, just flowing where the water takes it.
