IamTrevo's focus has always been on a journey - a vision to achieving success and continuously putting time into advancing knowledge and skills as documented through his Reflection Series projects. Sophomore Reflections gave insight into his 10th Grade, 16-year-old mind while he processes his new opportunity of making Hip-Hop/Rap music. Junior Reflections follows as a 2nd installment to the series following the thought processes of his 17-year-old mind and quietly developing a sound through which his messages could be conveyed. His 3rd installment Senior Reflections: The Journey serves as his mountaintop moment having graduated from high school and completing a life milestone while embracing the thoughts of everything he had gone through in that year leading up to his achievement. 

However, since that accomplishment, Trevo changed during the journey. Since leaving high school, his uncertainty regarding the future only grew with relationship complications as well as emotional and mental complications. Over time, well into college, he found himself losing drive and passion for success in the classroom. Family relationships were strained and he felt like he had nobody to turn to. The situations became too much of a problem to ignore. 

 His debut studio album Working Through It serves as a realization that the journey is not always pretty. The road of life is full of twists and turns and dark patches but just like one does in the good times without knowing it, the key to life is Working Through It.
