Want Change In My Life is an allegory song about a man who is drunk, disturbed, violent, and abusive against his wife and family. Deep down the drunken man want to change, but change sometimes is too late. 

Trey Knowles brings the mirror stoppage to domestic violence offenders in his song Want Change In my Life.

Domestic violence can be physical, sexual, emotional, economic, psychological, or technological actions or threats of actions, or other patterns of coercive behavior that influence another person within an intimate partner relationship. 

This includes any behaviors that intimidate, manipulate, humiliate, isolate, frighten, terrorize, coerce, threaten, blame, hurt, injure, or wound someone.

This type of behavior must stop. Apologize to your victim and repent from this behavior.

How can they be Woke? They claim to be wise but their thinking became worthless and their foolish hearts were darkened.

They exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator--who is forever praised. Amen. 

These men committed shameful acts with other men. and even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. They invent ways of doing evil and they show a lack of respect to the righteous. Woke. Are they Woke?

Envy leads to hatred and all kinds of wickedness. So there is no love in envy.

What is envy? A person feeling resentful. The word resentful means anger or displeasure.

While they desire to have a quality, possession, or other desirable attribute belonging to (someone else). Which is called coveting.

Some would say, I can’t desire to have what someone else has, what is wrong with that?

The problem with coveting its leads to wickedness and the feeling of resentfulness is not love and takes you out of the spirit of God, and God is love.

The Hebrew word for "covet" can also be translated as "lust",

 What happens when a person lusts after something with a strong desire to have it? The Negative consequences of this lead to wickedness and disobedience. It does not matter who you have hurt as long as you have your desire. It goes right back to Adam and Eve in the Garden. Eve desires something she was not supposed to have and what happen? So now mankind lives in those consequences, Adam and Eve.
