After being welcomed last year into the 'Nechto' family By Nastia , the french dynamic duo "LAVAL" driven by Electric rescue & Kmyle are back on their home recording label Skryptöm, with the special new release called "STRANGE DAYS". This steady four tracker, designed in a pure LAVAL aesthetic and focused on the dancefloor showcasing the french duo's skills of blending emotional melodies and driving rhythms and grooves . 

2 Remixes completed the EP, the contemporary Swedish duo "Aasthma" constituted by Pär Grindvik & Peder Mannerfelt, and the second , is a futuristic remix from the  Canadian Measure Divide.

Fanzine Project invites Blach !

Blach is a Galician artist in constant evolution — a techno lover, vinyl enthusiast, and synthesizer addict. His beginnings are deeply rooted in the early 2000s rave scene of Vigo, as well as several residencies in local clubs, which later led to countless performances at parties and festivals up to the present day. After 20 years behind the decks, a pandemic, and much work and learning, he reinvents himself in live format as Soul Lazh Live, his most ambitious project yet. 

Armed with drum machines, synthesizers, effects pedals, and distortions, he creates dynamic and powerful techno, full of strong synthesized sequences, hypnotic melodies, and immersive atmospheres — all while staying true to the old-school spirit to revolutionize dance floors. Beyond his live sets, Spin Blends, a 4-turntable and 2-mixer “only vinyl” B2B with J. Miguez; Purveyance Records, the label where he releases his own productions and those of like-minded artists, featuring two vinyl/digital releases; and Purveyance Techno Community — a series of events where music, respect, and artist quality come first— are the projects that complete the artistic journey of this true Techno activist.

Fanzine Project is a record label, a school and a booking agency run by artists and teachers, based in A Coruña, Galicia, Spain : Roi, Pablo and Lefrenk. Two goals have been guiding their destiny since 2008 : to promote awareness, expansion and accessibility of electronic music in their city, and to encourage an avant-garde cultural scene through different projects and approaches.

Their obsession is to generate a native cultural ecosystem with local roots and global reach. Whereas before the artist was transitioning from her earlier work towards new directions, Matter & Form arrives as an extended concept piece featuring four variations on a bracing, developed sound, an equally impressive remix from Lady Starlight, and a contrasting mix of the opening track. Where 2.0 charted emergence, ‘Entelechy I-IV’ unites to actualize this potential into a single-minded purpose behind fundamental principles.

Immediately launching into territory her last release only hinted at, ‘Entelechy I’ is a showcase for her now-mature approach. Her rhythmic dexterity and groove focus remains, with drum programs subtly evolving phrase by phrase, but they now form the basis for layered, complex compositions in a decidedly contemporary vein. ‘Entelechy II’ shifts focus towards the arrangement while keeping its drums steadily driving, drawing attention to details in its densely designed sounds through deliberate, gradual processing. Relaxing the tempo slightly, ‘Entelechy III’ fills in the extra space with more dark atmospherics and finely detailed soundscapes, finding a heavy medium between dark ambience and hammering techno. Another deeper effort, ‘Entelechy IV’ counterbalances insistent, finely-tooled percussive bleeps and equally persistent bass figures against another sweeping bass pulse, at times breaking down into carefully-controlled atonal aggression. Lady Starlight’s remix is skeletal in comparison, deploying its parts sequentially over ticker hi hats and a massive kick while using small shifts to incrementally build tension. ‘Entelechy I (Bent Mix)’ is more accurately described as hellbent, stripping out the original’s harmonic elements to grind the heavy rhythmic workout against an unrelenting acid line.

An undercurrent of sly disruption shapes the record’s flow: tracks tease and redirect, shifting from glassy, bouncing motifs to short, metallic gestures that slide, snap, or vanish. Drum-plate tones are left raw and unpolished, amplifying their own raw percussive character.

As the record deepens, its playful surfaces give way to something darker, more disorienting - syncopated, controlled, and quietly relentless. What starts as a light-handed rhythmic tease slowly descends into something more vindictive and volatile: a glacial hypnosis layered with tension and a restrained kind of malice.
