Made this track while staying at the broadview hotel with a close friend. There was a record player in our room so we grabbed a bunch of random records from the hotel library. The very first one we put on happend to be Dive by Tycho, and the instant we heard it we knew we had to sample it. 

The vocal cuts were sampled from a 1975 film, "Critical Program Reading" of which only part one still survives.

I used the first 10 seconds of Finale by Toby Fox, and tried to see how far I go. Not my best work but it's something.

Yellow Flower

I made a sample patch that is similar the distortion of cassette tape generation loss (loss of quality between subsequent copies). 

The artwork is a paint-over of a photo I took by a local park. It's inspired by the polygonal patterns I see in the topology of everyday objects. A couple years ago, I worked on a 3D render engine for about a month with little to no sleep. I think the stress and fatigue broke my brain a little. I'm really good at spatial reasoning now so at least there's that! :D
