Rob Pearson - Mind Flow

Triangle Records is making a bold return with a new series of releases, and they're kicking things off in style with Rob Pearson's latest offering, 'Mind Flow.' Known for his boundary-pushing soundscapes, Pearson delivers a track that's as wonky and twisted as it is mind-bending-a true sonic journey that lives up to its name.

Fresh off his recent successes on labels like Real Deal, AF1268, and Kuusou, 
Pearson continues his streak of forward-thinking techno with this release. 'Mind Flow (Original Mix)' showcases Pearson at his best, combining trippy effects with dangerous basslines to create a no-nonsense, hard-hitting techno track. This is Pearson in full attack mode, pushing the limits of sound and structure, ensuring that 'Mind Flow' is a track designed to mess with your mind in all the right ways.

Triangle Records' head honcho Orlando Voorn steps in under his Basic Bastard alias to deliver a remix that's a true chugger. With spacious effects and dark, meticulously programmed drums, this version locks you into a groove that's impossible to resist. Voorn's touch adds a brooding depth to the track, making it an essential cut for any dark room session.

Rob Pearson - Mind Flow - Paul Donton Toughen Mix

Closing out the release, fellow Triangle Records boss Paul Donton ramps up the intensity with his 'Toughen Mix.' This remix takes the original's infectious groove and cranks it up to eleven, layering on additional elements of madness that push the track into the stratosphere. Donton's version is a relentless assault on the senses, ensuring that 'Mind Flow' leaves a lasting impact on dance floors everywhere.

Paul Donton has been an innovative electronic force for more than 15 years and under various diﬀerent aliases. He has collaborated with a carousel of cultured peers, from Robert Owens to Orlando Voorn and has never been afraid to head into new, unknown territory across the sonic spectrum. He regularly collaborates with Rob Pearson, recently releasing the album ‘Unlucky For Some’ on Bombis Records. With Daniel Mancini he is one half of the production duo The Maersk Project, focusing on experimental techno while also working under the pseudonym ‘Eviltron’ , an alias which appears here. This latest EP shows his commitment to forward-thinking music with this brilliant new track, which comes on the Triangle Records imprint that he co-runs with Orlando Voorn.

'Positive Hunger' is a no-nonsense, driving cut with just the right amount of trippy FX anchored by solid kicks and a deep, resonant bassline. It's stripped back yet commanding and proves that if done as well as this, all you need are the essentials to create a big impact. For those with a taste for minimalism, the Dub Mix strips down the track even further to let each element breathe and make for a hypnotic, locked-in groove.

Motor City legend Eddie "Flashin" Fowlkes helped define the techno sound from day one and remains a standout talent who lays down killer groovers. He brings his signature touch to 'Positive Hunger' by layering in extra drums and pulsing synths that work body and head equally eﬀectively. To close the release, Eviltron oﬀers up a bold reinterpretation that cranks up the intensity with distinct sound design and a relentless beat that leads you into deeper, darker waters, you won’t want to come up for air.

The Triangle Label was formed in 2006 by none other than Orlando Voorn.

With a few releases under the belt, Orlando had then given the label a brief hiatus due to a busy schedule.

As of late 2017, Orlando had teamed up with Paul Donton from Bombis Records. 

From various projects, the duo began collaborating and making various productions and swapping remixes for various labels.

Together they have now relaunched Triangle Records to release their more 'Techno sounded productions' alongside a few other chosen artists they work with.

Here you will be hearing a more Industrial Techno sound.
