'The Man I Love' is the debut mix tape from Columbus, Ohio based producer Triangle Piece. This mix started off as a birthday present for a close friend. After two weeks of experimentation with sampling, repetition, and creating simple drum patterns in November 2011, the result was an album of individually produced tracks and beats.

The Man I Love

Walter is sample based sounds and chopped up synths all set to half the ideal human running tempo (90BPM). The album explores key modulation, and textural transitions to maintain interest while keeping a steady tempo that's easy to jog to.
