“God Dog ゴッドドッグ” is a series inspired by Yurika Saito research on wolf worship in Japanese shrines and the wild wolves in Germany, and themed around the wolf.
It explores the possibilities of expressive art through layered visual, auditory and movement-based forms, focusing on the resonant relationship between nature and culture.
It explores the resonance between nature and humanity through layered forms of expression in sound, movement and visuals.

”GOD DOG” は、Yurika Saito が自身の生まれ故郷にある東京の神社のオオカミ信仰や、ドイツの野生のオオカミについての調査から着想を得た表現シリーズ。
視覚、聴覚、動きの重層的な表現形式を通して、自然と文化の共鳴の関係性のような表現芸術の可能性を追求する。

This Remix was made from a snippet of an 80 minute sound performance by @mizuki_ishikawa (feedback) and @vincent-laju (cello) at KunstRaum der Künstlerkolonie Berlin e.V. But the original live performance included Yurika's composed film/instalation and improvised Tamae Yoneda's movement work.
