I'm not a hip hop DJ, but I am a DJ who loves hip hop. This is my attempt to make a mix that will appeal to both the connoisseurs and those with less knowledge of the genre, mixing some old classics with (relatively) newer stuff, with the focus on fun, funk, soul and jazz influences. Regular OST DJ collaborator and all-round top bloke Zap 'Em throws together an eclectic selection of beats and pieces of the downbeat, jazzy variety, with the odd curveball thrown in for good measure (Donovan, anyone?
